  • 1 pound chicken breasts that have no bones or skin and are cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 minced jalapeno pepper with its seeds and ribs removed
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro


Instructions:

  1. To make this chicken dish, start by mixing together yogurt, lemon juice, ginger, garam masala, cumin, coriander, paprika, and salt in a large bowl.

  2.  Toss in the chicken pieces to coat. Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.

  3. Next, preheat your grill or broiler. Then, thread the chicken onto skewers and grill or broil until cooked through, about 8–10 minutes.

  4. While the chicken is grilling, heat some oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. 

  5. Add the onion, garlic, and jalapeno pepper to the pan and cook until the onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.

  6. Bring the mixture to a simmer and add the crushed tomatoes. Once the chicken is done grilling, add it to the saucepan along with any accumulated juices.

  7.  On low heat, simmer for ten to fifteen minutes.

  8. Finally, stir in heavy cream and cilantro. Serve it and enjoy!
